This timeless tale continues to delight audiences worldwide, and now, our cast members have the exciting opportunity to take on leading roles in this special youth edition. Not only will they shine in prominent parts, but they'll also work alongside our older cast in minor roles, creating a vibrant and inclusive theatrical experience.

This one-hour adaptation of the RSC version of Baum's classic tale is expertly crafted for young performers, providing a platform for budding talent to showcase their skills and immerse themselves in the magic of live theater. Audiences of all ages will be captivated as young Dorothy Gale sets off from Kansas to the enchanting Land of Oz, encountering unforgettable characters and enduring adventures along the way.

In this special rendition, RSPA's 8th-12th graders will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with our youngest rising stars, portraying minor roles and lovable 'munchkins' in 'The Wizard of Oz Youth Version'.

Get ready to embark on a musical adventure with Rising Stars Performing Arts in 'Of Mice and Mozart'! Dive into the captivating world of one of history's greatest composers through a whimsical lens.

Join us as we follow the imaginative tale of Mozart's life, as told by the mischievous descendants of mice who once called his house home. Through catchy rhymes and toe-tapping tunes, 'Of Mice and Mozart' brings Mozart's story to life like never before.

From the infectious beats of Symphony #40 that kick off our journey, to the hilarious antics of 'Musicians Will Always Be Baroque', and even a sprinkle of rap in 'Mozart, We Sing to You', every moment is a musical treat that will have students laughing, singing, and learning together.

Under the expert guidance of RSPA Artistic Director Joe Santaniello, participants will delve into the magical world of musical theater. Here, they will craft their own original show, weaving together a captivating storyline with the timeless melodies of Broadway classics. From conceptualization to execution, students have the freedom to shape every aspect of their production, from scripting memorable lines to designing elaborate costumes and mesmerizing set pieces. As a tightly-knit unit, the class fosters a spirit of teamwork and mutual support, allowing each member to contribute their unique talents and ideas.

Culminating in a grand musical extravaganza, 'Best of Broadway' promises to be a thrilling showcase of creativity and talent, marking the 12th original masterpiece to emerge from this esteemed course. Join us on this unforgettable journey and let your imagination take flight on the grand stage of Broadway!
